ISS-HK and Ms Edelyn R. Vallo, Information Ambassador of our Mobile Information Service (MIS) at the Hong Kong International Airport have been awarded “Most Helpful Company” and “Most Helpful Staff” respectively in recognition of their service excellence.

Organised by the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), the “Give Me 5 in the Airport” campaign was held in November to invite passengers and airport staff to vote for top five companies and frontline staff for each of the six award categories.

Representing ISS-HK, Ms Adrielle Panares, Director for the Migrants Programme received the “Most Helpful Company” award, and Ms Vallco received the “Most Helpful Staff” award at the ceremony held on 11 December at the airport presented by the management of the Airport Authority.

Both awards were under the “Passenger Services” award category.

The MIS team has six Information Ambassadors and reaches out to newly arrived ethnic minorities 7 days a week.

The service will mark its 14th anniversary in 2016.
