H.O.P.E. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities
Duties
  • Plan and design the programmes and activities for ethnic minorities.
  • Coordinate and organize class schedules, outside activities and programmes.
  • Recruit, supervise and evaluate the participants, resource persons and volunteers.
  • Assist in developing and strengthening the network with the local and international organizations, government departments and other related organizations serving ethnic minorities.
Salary & Benefits

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.

Requirements
  • Proven work experience and ability to develop course design, training programmes in the service assigned.
  • Completed Form 5 / HKDSE / secondary school or above.
  • Knowledge of the culture of ethnic minorities service users.
  • Proven experience and ability to create a network of partners, volunteers and support systems to ensure effective programme development.
  • Good command of oral and written English.
  • Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or any EM language is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate positive and self-motivated attitude, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural team and work environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Have a valid work visa and flexibility to work at irregular hours, weekends and holidays as the Centre opens from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily except Monday mornings, shift duties is required.
