H.O.P.E.Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities (funded by Home Affairs Department)
Duties

New Networks Initiative at Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities :Funded by the Home Affairs Department, the “Youth Network “ and “Women Network” is to be set up from 1 April 2026 to further strengthen support for ethnic minority (EM) youth and women at H.O.P.E. Centre and D.R.E.A.M. Centre respectively.

  • Assist in engaging EM youth in structured programmes that promote their personal growth and social integration. 
  • Disseminate information, promote activities and services, and maintain communication among EM youth members.
  • Support programmes implementation, including exchange tours to the Chinese mainland, career and life planning programmes, leadership training, volunteering training and other service activities.
  • Assist in organizing workshops to raise awareness among EM women about health and mental health, and implement programmes to promote social inclusion.
  • Support the implementation of activities for sharing experiences, exchanging knowledge, and building supportive peer connections.
  • Disseminate information and promote activities and services aimed at women empowerment and community inclusion.

*1 post for full-time, 1 post for half-time

Salary & Benefits

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.

Requirements
  • Completed Form 5/HKDSE or equivalent, with fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of the culture of ethnic minorities service users. 
  • Proven relevant work experience in programmes implementation. 
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in creating networks and partnerships, and reaching out to EM for information dissemination and publicity.
  • Fluency in spoken and written communication of any ethnic minority language is an advantage.
