• Provide immediate supervision and support to the duty team. 
• Provide the second-tier counter check to ensure the quality of interpretation and translation.
• Assign standby staff to handle the emergency hotline.
• Manage enquiries and complaints about ethnic minorities’ needs and concerns.
• Ensure the interpreters’ / translators’ compliance and consistent adherence to the principles, ethnics and target goals set.

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.

• 2 years of relevant work experience in translation / interpretation or customer service / social service.
• A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above, or at least 3 passes or above in Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) / at least Level 3 in 3 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or above, or equivalent. 
• Fluent in at least one EM language, i.e. Urdu, Hindi, Nepalese, Bahasa Indonesia, Punjabi, Bengali and Tagalog.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Demonstrate a positive and self-motivated attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
• Able to work in a multicultural team and in a work environment.
• Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.
