• Assist the team leader in developing the service plan to deliver the interpretation and translation service for ethnic minorities. 
• Generate ideas and action plans to enhance the service delivery. 
• Recruit, supervise and train the centre’s seniors, interpreters / translators and language ambassadors / interns.
• Provide supervision and training for language ambassadors / interns.
• Handle enquiries and complaints of the ethnic minorities’ needs and concerns.

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.

• A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Preferably to have 2-3 years’ direct work experience in customer services, social services, interpretation / translation or relevant fields. 
• Fluent in at least one EM language, i.e. Urdu, Hindi, Nepalese, Bahasa Indonesia, Punjabi, Bengali and Tagalog.
• Relevant work experience in supervising a team of interpreters / translators is preferred.
• Demonstrate leadership, management and organizational skills.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Demonstrate a positive and self-motivated attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
• Able to work in a multicultural team and in a work environment.
• Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.
