D.R.E.A.M. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities (funded by Home Affairs Department)
Duties

As a support service centre for ethnic minorities in Kowloon City District, DREAM stands for Devoted To Racial Embracement and Appreciating Multi-Cultures. It advocates the integration of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong society and creates a community with cultural diversity, racial harmony and equality.

  • Assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of all the groups / programmes / activities for ethnic minorities.
  • Handle daily reception counter’s duties and answer general inquiries.
  • Provide interpretation service for service users.
  • Manage fee payment of groups, programmes / activities.
  • Prepare reports and other relevant documents for evaluation, planning and record keeping purposes.
Salary & Benefits

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.

Requirements
  • Completed Form 5 / HKDSE / secondary school or above.
  • Knowledge of the culture of ethnic minorities service users.
  • Proven work experience to assist in the implementation of groups / programmes in the service assigned.
  • Proven experience and ability to create a network of partners, volunteers and support systems to ensure effective programme development.
  • Good command of oral and written English.
  • Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or Thai language is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate positive and self-motivated attitude, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural team and work environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate
