The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in Social and Welfare Promotion was signed between ISS-HK and the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in HKSAR on 24 Sept to strengthen cooperation on social and welfare services as well as related assistance to Filipino migrants. It also encourages exchanges of experiences and best practices.

Under MOU, the scope of cooperation includes exchange of information, capacity building, technical cooperation and other areas of common interest. A weekly Cantonese class for Filipino migrants on Sunday has already been started as the first programme under the MOU. ISS-HK looks forward to further development of the long term relationship.
