D.R.E.A.M. Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities (funded by Home Affairs Department)Duties
- Provide casework and counselling service, conduct home visits and outreaching in the district.
- Supervise, plan, design, develop and implement different kinds of services/programmes.
- Evaluate and monitor the implementation of home visits, outreaches and other support services.
- Recruit, supervise and train the interns and volunteers.
- Evaluate the performance of Project Officers.
- Handle enquiries and complaints of the ethnic minorities’ needs and concerns.
Salary & Benefits
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; medical insurance; MPF and 15 days annual leave on the first year of service.
Requirements
- Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong with a recognized Degree in Social Work from a Hong Kong university or equivalent.
- Preferably to have at least one year of social work/fieldwork placement experience in planning and implementation of groups and programmes.
- Ability to develop programme management plan, achieve performance results, monitor and evaluate staff and programmes.
- Proven ability to network with other agencies and generate resources for the programmes.
- Good command of oral and written English.
- Able to read, write and effectively communicate in Chinese and/or any EM language is an advantage.
- Demonstrate positive and self-motivated attitude, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in multi-cultural team and work environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Required to work by roster arrangement which may include evening duties and weekends (Saturdays/Sundays).
