• Provide physical and basic care to service users.
• Keep records on individual service user, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
• Escort service users to school, medical consultations/check-ups or other functions as arranged.
• Exercise proper control and discipline over the service users, be observant of behavioural problems arising.
• Perform assigned household duties and assist in urgent duties in the shelter as the need arise.
• Short-term contract for around 3 months, willing to work in shift duty, including weekends and public holidays

• Completed secondary education level or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well with service users and be patient with them.
• Relevant education qualification and/or training in early childhood education, child care education, etc. are a distinct advantage.
• Relevant work experience in child care service/setting is preferable.
• Possess knowledge of basic child care and feeding, as well as an understanding of infant and child development.
• Good command of oral and written English; fluency in at least one minority language and/or ability to communicate in Chinese is a distinct advantage.
• Experience working in a cross-cultural working environment.
• Have a valid work visa.
• Computer literate.
