Feedback from Speakers:

• Your volunteers were so well-organized and so helpful and cheerful.
• The Hong Kong Polytechnic was a marvelous venue.
•  All the side trips planned were not only interesting, but it gave the participants extra time to be together, have fun and learn more.
• The Park Hotel was really an excellent choice!  Clean, comfortable, good food and very nice and helpful staff
• The Welcoming dinners were lovely and such a nice thing to do to gather people as they arrive.
• The closing ceremony was smart --- I loved your creativity with the passing of the beautiful baton with the inscription of Bowen’s Giving the Theory to the World.
• The Opening Ceremony with the puzzle was very clever and creative too.  It was impressive that so many people were involved in making the conference possible.
• The closing dinner was lots of fun --- a wedding feast --- and all the music was a treat.
• The keynote speakers were well-chosen.
• The topic of the Conference:  Systems Thinking in Daily Life and the breadth and dkepth of the range of presentations to choose from were excellent.  The only problem there is the overlap of interesting presentations at the same time.  I think the way around that is to have all presentations available for people to see at a later date.  My understanding is that you have done that too!  -   Selden Dunbar Illick

"This conference was informative to many who came in Hong Kong, and it was also an inspiration to many of the US participants. They were able to hear one another present and to have an interchange with other Bowen thinkers from around the world. I cannot think of anything I could suggest for changing the format except having a little more time between sessions. The number of sponsors, supporting organizations, and different disciplines that brought people to the conference was broad and diverse. Attracting people from 14 countries and cities was impressive. I hope we can use the contacts from this conference to help build stronger Bowen organizations in other countries."  -  Anne McKnight

The organization and setting for the conference were among the best I have experienced. It is too early to say what the long term impact on Bowen theory the conference will have. I can't help but think that a . such as the one you planned will raise the profile of the theory. I would guess that a few individuals will take the theory on as a long term effort and perhaps contribute to the theory.
